In a decision that will please neither side fully, the New Jersey Supreme Court Oct. 25 refused to legalize “gay marriage” but ordered the legislature to amend state law to give homosexual couples the legal benefits of marriage. Such a law, the court said, could include either civil unions — which are legal in Connecticut...

The School of Leadership and Church Ministry at Southern Seminary will take a new approach to equipping students for local church ministry, but it will be centered around the family, new dean Randy Stinson–who also serves as CBMW executive director–told seminary trustees last week.
