The early church contended for truth over Christology. The Reformers contended for truth over soteriology. Today we contend for truth over anthropology – what it is to be human: distinctly male or female created in the image of God and all that this entails.
With that in view, the exhortation in Jude 3 “to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” is still relevant 2000 years later. And as in Jude’s day, some of the contentions have to do with professing Christians within the church.View Event

The Nashville Statement: Building a Coalition for Biblical Sexuality
April 11, 2018 9:00AM–12:00PM
Is the faith once for all delivered to the saints compatible with the LGBT revolution? How we answer this question is in many ways the defining challenge of our generation. Much confusion surrounds these issues not only in the wider culture, but also in the pulpits and pews of our churches. As evangelical Christians, we must provide a faithful and loving witness of Christ to the many who are struggling to find answers. In that light, we are convinced of the need to build a new coalition for articulating the biblical view of gender and sexuality. Join us to see how The Nashville Statement meets this challenge head on.View Event
