News: CBMW re-introduces print edition of academic journal.
—————-
For the first time since 2009, the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood is making available a print edition of its Journal for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood.
The journal, which contributes to the academic discussion of social and ethical issues related to marriage, sexuality, and more, has been published since 1994, becoming available in an exclusively online format in 2010. But now, in a reversal of the more common move from print to Web-only, the journal is available in a print edition.
The return to print represents CBMW’s commitment to serving Christian people, churches, and institutions by providing them with resources to strengthen their stand amidst cultural chaos.
“Like light rushing into a room of darkness, it is my hope that the journal will continue in its long standing heritage of bringing biblical clarity to the most urgent of cultural questions regarding manhood and womanhood,” said JBMW editor, Jason Deusing. “This issue especially seeks to stand in that gap and shine truth with grace as far as can be seen by today’s culture.”
The Spring 2015 edition focuses on issues surrounding the current confusion on issues including same-sex attraction, gender reassignment surgery, and the LGBT movement. Contributors to the journal include R. Albert Mohler Jr., Owen Strachan, Sam Allberry, and more.
The online version for the Spring 2015 JBMW, along with the journal’s archives, can be found at cbmw.org/journal. Sign up here to receive your print copy of the JBMW.
