Editor’s note: Dr. Tom Schreiner, Professor of New Testament Interpretation and Biblical Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, recently spoke at CBMW’s annual banquet at the Evangelical Theological Society. His topic was 1 Timothy 2:12, and his title, “Thoughts on Function, Office, and Other Things.”
