Denny Burk is the President of CMBW. He also serves as a Professor of Biblical Studies at Boyce College, the undergraduate school of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He blogs at DennyBurk.com.
Grant serves as the Executive Director for CBMW. He is also a PhD student in Church History at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is Marine Corps veteran. He holds a B.S. from Texas A&M and an M.Div from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, GraceAnna, reside in Frankfort, Kentucky where Grant also serves as Pastor of Evangelism at Buck Run Baptist Church.
Dr. Duesing is Provost of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He holds a B.A. in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University, an M.Div. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. in Historical Theology and Baptist Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He is the author of Seven Summits in Church History (forthcoming, Rainer Publishing) and Adoniram Judson: A Bicentennial Appreciation of the Pioneer American Missionary and co-editor, with Malcolm Yarnell and Thomas White, of Upon this Rock, Restoring Integrity in Baptist Churches, and First Freedom: The Baptist Perspective on Religious Liberty.
Dr. Duesing is married to Kalee and they have four children: Gracyn, Ford, Lindsey, and George.
Colin is a Ph.D. student in Biblical Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He holds a Master of Divinity from Southern Seminary and a B. S. in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University. When not studying, Colin enjoys reading, blogging at his personal website, and spending time with his beautiful wife Elise and his three sweet children, Lydia, Isaac, and Laurel.
Courtney is a pastor’s wife, mother, freelance writer, and blogger. She was born in California, grew up in Texas, and did a couple of stints in Michigan before finally graduating from Northwestern College (MN) with a degree in English. After doing some graduate study at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, she met her husband, fell in love, and now lives in Little Rock, AR with their twin boys. They moved to Arkansas to help plant Midtown Baptist Church, where her husband serves as one of the pastors.

Mathew is the author of A Household Gospel: Fulfilling the Great Commission in Our Homes and contributor in Make, Mature, Multiply. He is also Managing Editor at Gospel-Centered Discipleship. He’s married to LeAnn and they have three daughters. They enjoy traveling, swimming at the beach, and wandering in the woods. Mathew regularly blogs at Grace for Sinners and contributes to a number of other publications.
Brittany Lind and her husband, Joel, live in Louisville, KY, and are members at Third Avenue Baptist Church where they are involved with ministry to international students. They deeply desire to become parents and plan to go overseas long term. Brittany was born and raised in a small town in Upper Michigan and went to Northwestern College in St. Paul, Minnesota. After graduating in 2009, she worked in Campus Ministries at Northwestern overseeing Missions and discipling women. Brittany currently writes for CBMW’s new women’s blog: Karis.
Jonathan is a student at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary pursing an M.Div. in Biblical and Theological Studies. He hopes to minister the Gospel either in his New England homeland or overseas.
