The Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood is pleased to announce that Clint Pressley is joining the organization’s council.

Pressley brings a breadth of ministerial, administrative, and leadership experience to the council. He is the senior pastor of Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he has served in that capacity since 2010. Prior to his current role, he pastored churches in Alabama and Mississippi.

He is also currently the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Southern Seminary. He has also held other leadership positions within the Southern Baptist Convention, including as the first vice president of the SBC in 2014–15.

“I have known Rev. Pressley for about 13 years. Not only is he a friend, but he’s also a faithful preacher and a devoted husband,” said Denny Burk, CBMW President. “Rev. Pressley loves the Bible’s teaching on manhood and womanhood. He has preached this message and modeled it. I couldn’t be more enthusiastic about his joining the council.”

A gifted preacher, CBMW recently featured one Pressley’s sermons on Danvers Audio, the organization’s podcast. The sermon is based in Genesis 2:18–25 and titled, “Marriage: A Creation Gift.”

The council is comprised of men and women who align with the organization’s vision — including the Danvers Statement and the Nashville Statement — and who contribute to the ministry in a variety of ways.

Pressley is a graduate of Wofford College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing a doctor of ministry at Southern Seminary.

Pressley and his wife, Connie, have two sons.
