In the days following CBMW’s release of the Nashville Statement on biblical sexuality, we received many emails from evangelicals across the globe wondering if we had plans to translate the Nashville Statement into other languages. We initially planned to offer translations at a later date – as CBMW did with the Danvers Statement 30 years ago – and thus were not actively pursuing any translations at the time of the Nashville Statement’s release.

But as these emails made clear, the issues addressed in the Nashville Statement are not unique to the American or even Anglophone context. Cultural pressure is forcing Christians everywhere to consider again the Bible’s teaching on marriage, sex, and human flourishing.

This is why we were also thankful to hear from evangelical individuals and organizations who were eager to translate the Nashville Statement into their native languages. Ron Kubsch at Evangelium21 asked for permission to produce a German translation; Jeff Stevenson at Proyecto Nehemías teamed up with Juan Sanchez at TGC and CBMW board member Miguel Nuñez for a Spanish translation; and our friends at Christian Life Quarterly based in Chicago worked to produce a Chinese translation, available in both traditional and simplified Chinese.

These translations can all be accessed under the “Download” section on the Nashville Statement page, as well as through links below. We will keep this post updated – as well as the “Downloads” section – with any new translations of the statement.

CBMW Gender & Sexuality Curriculum Male and Female He Created Them: A Study on Gender, Sexuality, & Marriage, by Denny Burk, Colin Smothers, & David Closson

This new curriculum is aimed at Christians who are facing challenging questions with the rise of LGBT ideology on topics like homosexuality, transgenderism, gender dysphoria, intersex conditions, preferred pronouns, and more. The study is broken down into eight chapters that guide readers through the Bible’s teaching on gender, sexuality, and marriage. Male & Female He Created Them gives Christians with a biblical foundation that starts in Genesis 1 and 2 with God’s good design in making mankind male and female in His image.

Male & Female He Created Them: A Study on Gender, Sexuality, & Marriage can be purchased online at Christian Book, Christian Focus, Amazon, and Barnes & Noble.
