Should Moms Work Outside the Home?

Should women with young children work outside the home? That’s the question I answered last Saturday morning on the Moody radio call-in show Up For Debate. Host Julie Roys led the discussion between author and speaker Leslie Leyland Fields and myself.

Are you worried that you’re away from home too much? Or maybe you feel anxious about not serving enough beyond the walls of your family room. Maybe you wish you could cut back on your hours to make time for reading books with your children. Or possibly you’re frustrated that you’re not contributing more to the family economy. Wherever you are on the spectrum, if you’re thoughtfully weighing the pros and cons of career vs. mothering, this conversation will give you much to consider and pray about.
