The Leading Edge: Yes, Virginia, Threats to Religious Liberty are Real

The Story: “Yes, Threats to Religious Liberty Happen Here” by Ryan T. Anderson, National Review Online.

The Lead: “Some on the left are criticizing Senator Ted Cruz’s recent comments about how the drive to redefine marriage may threaten religious freedom — but a closer inspection of the issue reveals his worries were accurate, prescient, and maybe even too cautious.”

The Payoff:  If “maybe even too cautious” doesn’t get you to read the rest of the story, perhaps nothing will.  Then again, Greg Scott’s recent entries on Elaine Huguenin might help.  But, understand that Elaine Photography is not a rarity.  The new battle lines of the gender wars have gone well beyond feminism vs. complimentarianism.  Take an historical, Christian view of marriage (or gender, for that matter) and be prepared to exit culture stage right.
