On April 8 we started uploading content to Karis. Four weeks and thirty-three posts later and we realize that we’ve only just begun to scratch the surface of important topics we hope to write about. As the editor of Karis, I can’t express my thankfulness enough for your readership, feedback, and enthusiasm. We have been thrilled by the responses and can only anticipate with great faith what is yet to come.

Recap

This month we have already begun three series. Currently we are walking through the word exploring key Scriptures that help us understand what it means to be men and women by God’s good design. Next we spent some time thinking through motherhood during Mother’s Day week.  Kimm Crandall started us off strong with The Truth about Mother’s Day. Finally we started an on-going series where we will draw wisdom from women of all stages of life for Titus Two Tuesdays. Soon Courtney Reissig, Assistant Editor here at Karis, will introduce our newest series which should take us through the rest of May and June.

We’ve touched on topics from empty nesting to the life goals of one single. And I took a moment to remind everyone that Karis celebrates who we are as women made in the image of God, equal in worth and creation, yet distinct in roles, but you won’t find  fighting or defending. These few links barely touch on all of the great topics we’ve covered. I’d suggest that when you have a moment start at the top of the page and make your way through the site.

Our goal is to upload fresh new content from our wonderful contributors every day (except weekends, only occasionally). And may I just say God has been faithful to provide women who are eager to write and encourage other women through their writing. Please don’t skip over the “by” line. They are faithful servants and I thank God for them.

Questions?

Now that you’ve been reading for a month or perhaps you’ve just stumbled upon us, either way, we’d love to hear from you. If you have specific questions about womanhood please send us your questions to [email protected]. If the questions are such that we think everyone might want to know we’ll make sure to post it!

Thank you for reading, thank you for sharing! We look forward to many more months with you and can’t wait to hear from you! Send us a note or your questions.

I am praying that the “Lord would bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you;  the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace” (Numbers 6: 24-26).
