CBMW is pleased to announce its 4th annual conference in the United Kingdom, which will be on “Complementarity & Contending for the Faith.” This conference is in partnership with The Angel Church.

TIME: 29 September 2018 (10:00-14:30)

LOCATION: The Angel Church, Chadwell Street, ECIR IXD

About the Conference:

The early church contended for truth over Christology. The Reformers contended for truth over soteriology. Today we contend for truth over anthropology – what it is to be human: distinctly male or female created in the image of God and all that this entails.

With that in view, the exhortation in Jude 3 “to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” is still relevant 2000 years later. And as in Jude’s day, some of the contentions have to do with professing Christians within the church.

In this CBMW conference, John Benton and Gavin Peacock will be pastorally addressing some of the issues undermining masculinity and femininity and the areas where they appear, so that we might persevere in our day.
