—————-

In a recent list of the top 300 Christian blogs for ministry, the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood website ranked 34th.

This is the highest ranking CBMW has received on the list, which appears on the website ChurchRelevance.com. The list compiles data and statistics from a number of analytic tools that measure web traffic, social media sharing, and other metrics. This is the 12th edition of the list.

The previous edition of the list, from April 2014, ranked CBMW 44th. The September 2013 edition of the top 200 blogs – and all the editions prior – left CBMW unranked.

CBMW’s website has long been a focus of its effort to publish content that articulates a biblical vision for marriage, sexuality, and other issues for a wide audience, according to Greg Gibson, the executive editor for CBMW’s blog.

“Our goal at CBMW is to provide a powerhouse of quality content that is not only helpful for the average Christian family sitting on the pew, but intellectually fierce and counter-cultural for the public square engager,” Gibson said.

Gibson hopes the recent ranking as the 34th top blog for Christian ministry reflects the effectiveness and appeal of the “solid, engaging, and winsome content” that CBMW produces “to equip the church to stand against the tide of culture and exalt the Lord Jesus Christ.”

The complete list can be found here. Other CBMW-related sites making the list are CBMW president, Owen Strachan, at 62nd, council member R. Albert Mohler, Jr. at fourth, and council member John Piper’s ministry, Desiring God, at 12th.
