We are excited to introduce new staff members at the Council on Biblical Manhood & Womanhood.

—————-

After a lot of prayerful thinking and evaluating over December and January, we decided as a CBMW team that we would move to a more consolidated approach with our blog content. Instead of doing many articles across the multiple channels that we have used – Karis, Family, Manual, and Book Reviews – we would focus on producing less content, and locating it all on a central platform. So, as of now, we are consolidating all of the blog channels into one main CBMW blog. We think that by simplifying what we are doing in our approach, we will be more effective for the kingdom of Christ in helping people understand God’s plan for men, women, and the family.

gg 2To make this happen, we have restructured our staff to lead and support one main CBMW blog. Leading the new blog is Greg Gibson, who will serve as the executive editor of the CBMW blog and director of communications. Greg is a pastor in Knoxville, Tennessee, and a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.

“Greg Gibson is a powerhouse of activity,” said Owen Strachan, president of CBMW. “We’re thrilled he’s our new director of communications, and his vibrant, thoughtful sensibility sets a cheerful and convictional tone for our engagement.”

Reissig is a wife, mother, and writer in Arkansas, where her husband serves as a pastor of a church plant.

“Courtney Reissig is a leading voice among young complementarian women,” Strachan said. “She is a gifted writer who loves the biblical vision of womanhood. God is raising up her and an army just like her to show the world that the gospel, and no ideology, offers women the transformation they seek.”

He loves the Lord with his whole heart and is committed to helping us accomplish numerous projects and to putting the best possible content on our website. He is an important addition to CBMW.

These staff changes put CBMW in a position to continue “serving the church of the Lord Jesus by providing quality materials and resources that are biblically faithful, theologically sound, and practically helpful,” said CBMW board member, Daniel L. Akin. “We want to address issues and questions this generation is asking.”
