The Leading Edge is a weekly look at what we’re reading, considering, and thinking through. If you have stories you’d like us to post here, tweet them to us @CBMWEdge.

Eleven Hate Crimes Hoaxes – Emotional stories have always been used to push the needle of society.  No less is that the case when it come to hate crimes.  But, things are always not as they are reported.  The Christian consumer of content will be discerning.

Millenials and Marriage – Aspiration doesn’t always lead to action, but it’s good to know that marriage is yet held in high esteem.  “These statistics have led many commentators to conclude that Americans—particularly Millennials—have struck marriage from their list of life goals. Yet this analysis is belied by surveys showing that aspirations to marry remain almost as high as ever.”

The Right Not to Be Implicated – “It is a perversion of the English language that our so-called liberals are the least liberal faction in our polity. American liberalism is the creed that you are entitled to think do as you are commanded.”
