Make a Year-End Gift to CBMW

At the beginning of November, I had the opportunity to speak to the adult leaders of the Christian boys’ high-adventure organization, Trail Life USA, at a camp in the Upstate of South Carolina. My message to them at their closing campfire (in the snow and in a brisk, freezing wind) was entitled “How to Train Young Men.” It was an incredibly surreal moment, as I was able to speak to close to 100 men from 2 Timothy 4:1-8, Paul’s final admonition to Timothy, to explain three absolute necessities in training young men for godliness: 1) Preach and Teach the Word of God, 2) Be Vigilant, and 3) Finish Strong. By way of reminder, I explained to them why we must continue to teach the Word of God by pointing back to Paul’s famous statement in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 that “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”

We believe at CBMW that God’s Word has the power to impact and change lives, teaching us how to live as men and women of God in every area of life including the family and the church. However, at no point in modern history have the biblical ideals of what it means to be a man and a woman been so openly challenged. But by God’s grace, He has raised up CBMW at this time in history to stand for the truth of God’s Word and to proclaim God’s ideals for manhood, womanhood, marriage, and the family.

This year God gave us the opportunity to host a National Conference attended by over 1,400 people in Louisville, Kentucky, at which we were able to teach God’s ideals for marriage and manhood and womanhood. We also have seen the traffic to our blogs and our journals steadily climb as more and more people are coming to CBMW to seek wisdom on how to live their lives according to the Word of God. Even more, we have been blessed with many opportunities to speak in the public sphere regarding manhood and womanhood including Fox News, Moody Radio and several other radio broadcasts, and many churches and organizations.

We know that these opportunities are from the Lord, and we want you to be a part of it.
