Brandon D. Smith
Director of Strategic Initiatives
Brandon is Executive Director of Gospel-Centered Discipleship and editor of Make, Mature, Multiply: Becoming Fully-Formed Disciples of Jesus and co-author of a forthcoming primer on theology from Rainer Publishing with J. A. Medders. A freelance writer, his work has appeared on The Gospel Coalition, Desiring God, ERLC, Baptist Press, Church Leaders, and other popular online resources. He is also a regular guest on “For Christ and Culture,” a radio show on 90.9 KCBI in Dallas/Fort Worth. From 2011-2012, he was a religion contributor at The Northeast Texan newspaper.
By day, Brandon is Director of Communications at Criswell College, where he also serves as Associate Editor of the Criswell Theological Review and Executive Editor of the For Christ & Culture blog. He holds a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Dallas Baptist University and is finishing the M.A. in Systematic & Historical Theology at Criswell. He will begin his Ph.D. in Systematic Theology at the University of Aberdeen in mid-2015.
